Advanced Assessment & Management

 

Thrombolysis

Prolonged Casualty Care

Maintain continuous monitoring

  • 3 lead ECG
  • Sats
  • NIBP

Serial (6 hourly) 12 lead ECGs for first 48 hours AND/OR any chest pain or shortness of breath

Reach back to DCA Medicine (or deputy) via TELEMEDICINE

Paediatric Considerations

As per adult guidelines
Consider undiagnosed congenital abnormalities
